Materials & craftsmanship

Attention, in every stitch.

Nothing here comes off a production line. Every Kiissa piece is cut from carefully chosen fabric and sewn by hand, one at a time.

The fabrics

Chosen to touch a baby's skin

  • Soft cotton poplin

Light and breathable, printed with the florals and stripes that give each bib its character.

  • Gentle muslin

Washed for softness, airy and absorbent. The quiet workhorse of baby life.

  • Plush fleece

The deeply soft layer behind the Comfort Layer. Cosy, and there to cushion.

The making

Sewn by hand, finished with care

Each scalloped edge is stitched and turned by hand. Snaps are set one by one and tested. Seams are checked twice, because they will live next to delicate skin and be washed again and again.

The result is a piece that is beautiful on the front, soft on the back, and honest all the way through.
